Bitcoin-backed loans with published LTV bands
Liquidity without giving up your position
Selling to raise cash ends your exposure and can crystallise a taxable disposal. A collateralised loan does neither: your assets stay in custody as security, you receive cash or stablecoins against them, and you repay on your own schedule.
No sale, so your exposure is unchanged
Margin alerts well before any liquidation
Published LTV bands, not case-by-case pricing
Loan-to-value bands are published per collateral asset, so you can work out what a given holding will support before you apply. Higher-volatility collateral supports a lower LTV, which is what keeps margin calls rare.
Interest is charged on the outstanding balance and accrues daily. Repay early without penalty and the collateral is released as soon as the balance clears.
Margin management with room to react
Collateral is marked continuously against market prices. Alerts fire well before any liquidation threshold, by email and in-app, with the exact top-up needed to return to a safe band.
You can add collateral or repay part of the balance at any point to move back down the LTV ladder; liquidation is the last step, not the first response.
Where the collateral sits
Pledged assets remain in the same custody arrangement as the rest of your holdings — cold storage with qualified custodians — and are ring-fenced rather than rehypothecated.
The pledge, the LTV band and the current margin position are visible in the client panel for the life of the loan.
How it works
- 01
Pledge
Select the collateral asset and see the LTV band it supports.
- 02
Draw
Receive cash or stablecoins against the pledge, usually the same day.
- 03
Repay
Pay down at your own pace; collateral releases when the balance clears.
Crypto-backed loans: common questions
- Do I have to sell my crypto?
- No. The assets are pledged as collateral and stay in custody, so your market exposure is unchanged and there is no disposal. When the loan is repaid, the pledge is released.
- What loan-to-value can I get?
- LTV bands are published per collateral asset, with less volatile collateral supporting a higher ratio. The band you qualify for is shown before you commit to the loan.
- What happens if the market falls?
- Collateral is marked continuously and alerts are sent well before the liquidation threshold, showing exactly how much to top up or repay. Liquidation only follows if the position is not restored in time.
- Is my collateral lent out?
- Pledged assets are ring-fenced in custody for the duration of the loan and are not rehypothecated. The pledge is visible in your client panel throughout.
